Summer Wildflowers
A 16×20 botanical study —ideal for collectors, nature lovers, or discerning interiors. This selection of wildflowers was inspired by walks at Acacia Reservation in the Cleveland Metroparks. This piece features: Wild Carrot (known as Queen Annes Lace), Chicory, Oxeye Daisies, Wild Bergamont, Shasta Daisies, and Sow Thistle. Each specimen was hand pressed at The Fleur De Lis House by Danielle DeBoe Harper using traditional flower pressing methods then artfully mounted on 16×20” ivory colored 1.4mm acid free mat board.
This is not a print, but a real botanical specimen artfully preserved.
A small calligraphic title by Farin Blackburn has been added in the bottom of the print inside the subtle scored frame that surrounds the specimen.
This item is sold unframed unless you select one of our custom framing options below.
All our custom frames use Tru Vue Optium Museum Acrylic for ultimate protection and clarity. 99% UV filtration, anti-static, anti-reflective, 1/8" thick with InSite Acid Free high-quality paper faced mounting board with a memory foam center and a smooth, bright white paper that was created for preservation framing.
Please note: Pressed flowers and plants all naturally fade over time, especially if exposed to light. While their colors may soften, their form and sentiment remain beautifully intact — part of their ephemeral charm.
