Fall Clematis Blooms Matted + Framed
This special piece comes with matting and Raw Oak wood frame. It features Chinese Clematis in the Fall. The clematis used in this piece is from Danielle’s own trellis wall of clematis (her favorite part of her garden!) and was harvested and hand pressed and assembled into this artwork at the Fleur De Lis House. This piece is created using a 16×20 Ivory acid-free 1.4mm archival mat. with a 20×24 contrast ivory acid-free archival mat. It has then been framed in our Raw Oak 20×24 frame using Tru Vue Conservation Reflection-Control Acrylic (99% UV protection with a non-glare finish) to support the longevity of color within the specimen.
A botanical study in muted beauty—ideal for collectors, nature lovers, or discerning interiors.
This is not a print, but a real botanical specimen artfully preserved.
A small calligraphic title by Farin Blackburn has been added in the bottom of the print inside the subtle scored frame that surrounds the specimen.
Please note: Pressed flowers and plants all naturally fade over time, especially if exposed to light. While their colors may soften, their form and sentiment remain beautifully intact — part of their ephemeral charm.
