Each Fleur De Lis House bridal commission begins with flowers from your wedding and ends as an original work of botanical art.
Your bouquet is carefully documented upon arrival before its individual flowers and foliage are prepared and pressed by hand. Over the following weeks, the flowers slowly transform—revealing new silhouettes, textures and colors.
Once preserved, Danielle individually composes each piece by hand, interpreting the spirit of your bouquet through her distinctive artistic point of view.
The result is not intended to freeze your bouquet exactly as it appeared on your wedding day.
It is something new created from it.

Your Flowers. Our Artistic Hand.
No two Fleur De Lis House bridal pieces are alike.
Before beginning your artwork, we'll learn about your bouquet, your wedding and the details that matter most to you.
You'll select certain preferences—including scale, orientation, framing and whether you would like your original bouquet ribbon incorporated.
From there, we ask you to trust us.
The final composition is created at the artistic discretion of Fleur De Lis House. Flowers are selected and arranged according to their individual character after pressing, creating a balanced work of art rather than a literal reconstruction of the bouquet.
That element of discovery is part of the commission.
You give us your flowers. We create the artwork they become.
THE PROCESS
01 — Reserve Your Date
Because each bouquet is pressed and composed by hand, we accept a limited number of bridal commissions.
We recommend reserving your wedding date in advance whenever possible.
Once your commission is confirmed, we'll provide everything you need to prepare for your wedding weekend.
02 — Send Us Your Bouquet
Flowers preserve best when they reach us as fresh as possible.
Following your wedding, your bouquet should be placed in fresh water and kept cool until it can be delivered or shipped.
For brides outside Northeast Ohio, we'll provide detailed packing instructions and shipping guidance so that a trusted friend or family member can send your bouquet immediately following the celebration.
Local bouquets may be delivered directly to our studio by arrangement.
03 — We Press Your Flowers
Upon arrival, your bouquet is photographed and documented before being carefully deconstructed.
Each viable flower and piece of foliage is individually prepared for traditional pressing.
Over the following weeks, moisture slowly leaves the flowers and their forms begin to change.
This is where preservation becomes transformation.
04 — We Create Your Artwork
Once your flowers have finished pressing, Danielle or a member of our design team begin composing your piece.
Each botanical is considered individually—its shape, movement, color and relationship to the flowers around it.
There is no template and no predetermined arrangement.
Your artwork evolves organically from the flowers themselves.
05 — Framing & Finishing
Your finished composition is mounted using conservation-quality materials and professionally framed according to the specifications of your collection.
Personalized calligraphy and other selected details complete the piece before it is carefully packaged for its journey home.
Most bridal commissions are completed in approximately 12–16 weeks, although larger and Couture commissions may require additional time.
